yaklaş2030 | co-art co-act’ Multidisciplinary Art Workshops

Video Workshop with Elmas Deniz – Synthetic Water

“In this collective video workshop led by Elmas Deniz, the examination of thinking about the relationship between nature and humans from an artistic perspective will create a new ground for exploration. The workshop will specifically open discussions on various modes of this relationship, focusing particularly on water. Participants will engage in the liberating potential of art, thinking critically, and adopting a multidimensional approach. The workshop prioritizes the experience of thinking and creating together with an artist rather than technical knowledge.”

Photography Workshop with Murat Germen – Unifying City

“Cities are now designed as zones of captivity, aiming not to unify but to segregate, making people wholly dependent instead of independent, and collecting personal/private data to anticipate individuals’ consumption tendencies. Surveillance systems have overtaken cities under the guise of security. However, those making cities unsafe are the ones fostering environments of insecurity and injustice in income distribution, resorting solely to security systems as a solution. This workshop aims to discuss how cities can be transformed into unifying spaces, examining existing positive examples and proposing suggestions.”
