Murat Bayramoğlu
Community Engagement Program Manager
Graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences from London Metropolitan University in 2000. Following his graduation, he worked as a freelance writer for culture and art magazines and produced documentary films. From 2003 to 2005, Bayramoğlu served as the Coordinator for a Health Program in collaboration with the European Union, the Ministry of Health, and IBC. Subsequently, between 2005 and 2009, he coordinated the Ardahan and Kahramanmaraş Rural Development Projects, financed by BTC Şti. From 2009 to 2019, he managed the Bitlis/Kavar Basin and Kilis/Ravanda Basin Rural Development Projects for the Özyeğin Foundation. He is also the co-editor of the book Local and Rural Development from a Sustainability Perspective. Currently, he is the Manager of the Özyeğin University Sustainability Platform Community Engagament Program. His professional interests include designing and implementing training and mentoring programs for agricultural development and women’s cooperatives, overseeing the Local and Rural Development Certificate Program, which will mark its 10th anniversary in 2024, and engaging in national and international research and implementation projects focused on rural and local development.
